pulled together the most frequently asked questions below:

What exactly is UHT?
UHT is a non-profit organisation which is partnering with and assisting local communities and National Governments of various Sovereign
Nations in three regions: Africa, Asia-Pacific, South America and the Islands (Caribbean, Bahamas and Virgin Islands).

What are the aims of UHT?
UHT aims to assist communities and Nations in becoming self-sufficient in the areas of Food Production, Clean Energy Technologies and Water.

The organisation will also be looking to support these Nations with Banking, Asset Management, and various Eco Wealth projects.

UHT’s plans and technologies are both ecological and totally sustainable in nature and will help in growing and affording a better future for each
Nation within each of the three regions.

UHT also assists with arts, cultural and sporting programmes (in both previously disadvantaged and advantaged areas), as well as
entrepreneurship and job creation programmes spread throughout the broader society.

Which geographical regions does UHT operate in?

How long has UHT been in existence?
UHT was conceived as an entity 18 years ago and was launched publicly as a non-profit organisation in January 2015. Many years have gone
into its planning and development.

Where is UHT’s headquarters? Why was this location chosen?
UHT is headquartered in Accompong, Jamaica. This location was selected since it was the site for UHT’s first pilot project.

Also read about the Accompong in Jamaica and its unique story and heritage. For details, click here.

How is UHT funded?
UHT is funded by trading partners and commodities.

How does UHT decide which locations to operate in?
UHT considers applications from all over the world. In particular disadvantaged regions and areas where it can make a difference to peoples’
lives in terms of food production, clean energy technologies and water.

UHT will conduct ongoing surveys to ascertain the major needs in a particular area. Once selected, the project operates according to local
protocols and laws. UHT currently conduct projects in the three regions: Africa, Asia-Pacific, South America and the Islands (Caribbean,
Bahamas and Virgin Islands).

I have an idea for starting a sustainable project. Can I apply to UHT for funding?
No, unfortunately not. The UHT is not a private lender or a venture capitalist organisation.

However, an existing NGO, CBO or Civil Society could partner with UHT if there is an existing sustainable project that fits in the UHT’s
basic criteria. Or the organisation can submit the project through their Government, and encourage a public private partnership with UHT,
as the funding agent.

It works directly with the governments, provinces, councils and registered bodies of the applicable areas to help bring about meaningful
change in the fields of food and food production, clean energy, and water. It also develops close relationships in the fields of arts, culture and
sport.

Who are the friends of UHT?
Anyone or any organisation that is proactively willing to help a Nation and its people’s ongoing survival is a friend of the UHT.

What is UHT’s political stance?
UHT does not have one. It is “A”political.

Its members come from all different political leans, - however the UHT is there to support the government and the administration of the day.

It is an assistance and advisory body, and not an activist body.

What is UHT’s religious stance?
UHT does not have one. It is “A” religious.

UHT welcomes men and women of all religious denominations. Its members also come from all different religions and belief systems. UHT
expects all its members and co-venture partners to respect the religious beliefs of others at all times. UHT expects all religions and belief
systems in turn to be proactive towards survival tendencies.

How does UHT address different cultural issues?
UHT will work with any culture and will work within the cultural boundaries of that culture in question.

Will UHT have offices available in every country wherever it is operating?
Yes, eventually. Right now UHT is setting up three main Continental Regional Offices in Jamaica, Africa and Australia. These regional
Continental offices will then be responsible for the ongoing establishment of offices and staff in other countries, (applicable to the laws and
protocols of that region).

By watching the media section on our website and keeping up to date with its announcements, one will be kept up to date on the UHT’s
ongoing expansion plans and progress.

UHT also understands that like Rome, nothing can be built in seven days. Progress will be along a well mapped out and project managed road.

How does UHT view the corporations in society?
UHT believes that everyone and every organisation have a part to play in society and so it is with the corporations.

UHT hopes and believes that the corporations will also play a part in the social reform of a Nation and its people. Thus any corporation that is
willing to do that is welcome to work with and alongside UHT in its endeavours to help bring about a better world.

How does UHT view other NGO’s?
If the NGO in question is like minded and follows ethical principles, UHT will gladly work with and alongside that organisation.

Where can I find out more information about UHT?
Predominantly on our website. The website will be kept updated on a near daily basis. All new plans, information and results regarding its
progress, will be made freely available.
